Photos: 9yr Old Onyinyechi Rescued From the Hands of Her Wicked Aunt - See Photos

A 9-year-old girl named Onyiyechi Nkerem who is always been beaten and brutalized by her aunt has been rescued from the hands of her aunt, Chioma Okereke whom she has been living with for 4 months now, by Lagos based NGO, Project Alert. 

According to the founder of the NGO, Mrs  Josephine Effah-Chukwuma, after the story was brought to her attention, they rescued the girl and were able to reunite Oyinyechi with her parents in Umunoha village in Mbaitoli Ikeduru LGA in Imo State. 

But for the intervention of Project Alert representative in Owerri, Chinedu Ifeanyi Anyanwu the youths in the village would have mobbed Chioma, Obinna her husband and Obinna's mum for maltreating the little girl.
