Revealed: See How The Mother Of Rivers State Commissioner For Information Was Kidnapped By Their Family Member

Mrs Patience Tam-George, 85, mother of Dr Austin Tam-George, has been released by her abductors.

She was kidnapped on Saturday, on her way from church at Giogioma in Okrika, and the kidnappers demanded for a ransom of N30m.

She was released on Thursday night. The Rivers State Police Command said that Sylvanus George (pictured), a member of Tam-George’s family, masterminded the kidnap, due to poverty. 

He has since been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command.
