Words cannot describe the sudden death of Nollywood actress, Bukky Ajayi. The movie thespian died at the early hours of Wednesday, July 6, at her home in Lagos.
The movie thespian died just three months after the received her Industry Merit award at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA), which took place on Sunday, March 5, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
However, on Monday, February 5, Bukky Ajayi clocked 82-years old and her children hosted her to a private birthday party at her home, in Lagos.
In her last words at the award ceremony, Bukky Ajayi disclosed that if she has offended anyone, they should please forgive her and if she has offended anyone, they should please forgive her. She further added that her only wish was that: “I hope I can stand up but if I do that I will fall down.”
However, the Nollywood actress already knew that she was going to die before the end of the year. When NAIJ.COM, contacted her for an interview before her death she disclosed that, she would have loved to grant an interview but she knows she would be going soon so she does not want to say anything.
