- Kasimu died on Friday morning, October 28, after a protracted illness at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo state
- The deceased was a pioneer staff of Raypower FM and Africa Independent Television (AIT). The former chairman of Daar Communications, High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi is mourning the death of his cousin Kasimu Dokpesi, Egovtoday reports.
He was aged 59. The deceased who was once a commissioner in Edo state was a pioneer staff of Raypower FM and Africa Independent Television (AIT).
According to family sources, Dokpesi had earlier left for Edo state on Friday to initiate an oversea treatment for Kasimu before the sad news. May his soul rest in peace.
Recall that about 4 months ago, Dokpesi, allegedly escaped an assassination attempt on his life on Saturday night June 4, 2016.
